Spirit Spectrum is an action bullet-hell shooter with rogue-like elements. 

Help Brian on his journey through the parallel world of Astral, during which the hero will master powerful occult abilities and fight hordes of enemies to retrieve his beloved's soul.

Brian's life changes dramatically when he finds his girlfriend Alice unconscious in the bathroom at home. Next to her is a loaded revolver covered in strange symbols. Alice is in a coma, and doctors don't know how to help her.

Soon, Brian learns from his dreams that he can still save her. Alice's soul is trapped in the parallel world of Astral, inhabited by hostile souls of creatures from many other worlds.

Fight your way through crowds of enemies and save your beloved by learning occult techniques to control the energies of Chaos and Order on which the universe is built. Try again and again, becoming stronger each time. Learn destructive abilities that can be combined in different ways during each dive into Astral. But be careful - sometimes power can change your hero's values and lead him to the dark side.

On your journey, you will encounter various characters. The character and skeletons in the closet will be like those of your friends, as well as bosses you'll have to fight. And even the cat following you can play an important role.

Fight and make choices wisely, as your actions will determine how the story ends and whether Brian can keep his humanity.

Planned features:

1. A multitude of active destructive abilities. During each dive into Astral, you can gather unique ability combinations that allow for different play styles.
2. Color interaction mechanics. The world of Astral consists of energies of Chaos [orange energy] and Order [green energy]. You have power over both. Use them in battle and develop your own play style.
3. Become stronger after each dive. Develop your character's abilities and parameters, increasing your chances of success.
4. Every non-player character and boss has their own distinctive features that make interaction with them memorable.
5. Dialogue choices and character development will affect the course and ending of the story
